Dr. Jack Mandelbaum
Dr. Jack Mandelbaum is founder and president of
Management Insight. He has over 25+ years of
quantitative and qualitative primary market research
experience in the computer and communications industry.
In 1981, he delivered one of the first large scale,
strategic research studies in the computer industry
using advanced multivariate research methods. In
addition to Dr. Mandelbaum’s primary market research
experience, he also developed the industry’s first
comprehensive model of organizational performance.
Prior to forming Management Insight, Dr. Mandelbaum held
positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, Arthur
Young and Company, and the NCR Corporation. At Digital,
Dr. Mandelbaum served in Strategic Planning Management
in the Networks and Communications group, Engineering
Quality Management, Laboratory Data Products planning,
and Manufacturing, Distribution and Control Market
Segment Management. At Arthur Young and Company, Dr.
Mandelbaum was a MS consultant and EDP auditor. At NCR,
Dr. Mandelbaum was an account manager in the
Commercial/Industrial division.
Dr. Mandelbaum holds scientific bachelorate degrees in
theoretical mathematics and business management from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Masters in
Business Administration from Babson College, a Doctorate
in Business Administration from Boston University in
collaboration with the Harvard Business School, and a
Masters in Computer Engineering from the National
Technological University.
